My brillant child....

I hate to be a bragging parent, but, ok no I don’t. I love to be a bragging parent! Um, so on with the bragging. Are you ready for this, because it’s huge….? Rayna can count to ten! I completely went nuts Sunday night when she just took off and starting counting and when she reached ten I jumped up and grabbed her and kissed her all over. I couldn’t believe it! We’ve been counting with her for awhile now. Like we’ll count her toes or count the stairs when we walk up or down, things like that. My child is a genius! She did it again for me this morning after we brushed her teeth and all I could do was just beam with pride. If I ask her what comes after ten, she’ll say “eleben, twelf…” and then she’s stuck. But I am so PROUD!
We are trying to teach her colors too. But right now everything is red. I guess she can only be an expert on one thing at a time!
Oh and the other night I wrote down all the objects she could identify or words that she could say without being asked to say and it’s close to 130. There are also about 20 phrases she can say too like “Love you momma”, “Me do it”, “I fall down”, and “I hold you momma”. She’s so smart!
